Beaded bracelets

I’m no jewellery lady. I don’t usually wear any accessories besides the watch on my left arm ~ and that’s an old one with no sparkly things.

However, I like bracelets ~ prefereably those I made myself. Because it’s simple, it’s rather cheap, and very creative. If you get the hang of the method, there’s no limit on how to tweak them into your own style. I made these:

It’s just so easy, every one of them is made with beads and tied together using macram√© technique ~ not very hard to master. It took me a few days not to get the tied part to twist itself, but when I got that figured out it was pretty easy making them. If you like creating your own jewellery, I highly recommend it.

If you’re curious about macrame techniques, there are a wide variety online ~ I found this to be quite extensive:¬†http://www.free-macrame-patterns.com/learn-macrame.html.

That’s actually a good Christmas gift, if you haven’t figured one out yet ~ or if you want to get an early start of the making/shopping.

Good luck, and don’t be so hard on yourself. We are all beginners at first, even though some people seem to forget that.
